Yes...Jamaican..American....southern...Mexican....vegan...
I would think so, with the fall and winter months of wonderful baking.
Yes!!! Lots of goodies there!!!
Yes
Yes and very good ones
Inside has all kinds of amazing restaurants including a Jamaican restaurant I have yet to try.. It has a huge import store with lots of spices, seeds and those rare ingredients. It also has freezer foods and some produce options.. Lots of different things... Beside it is a coffee shop.. Outside has a huge garden area to buy plants. Lots of vendors outdoors. Fresh grown, local goods and some imports. You can taste the difference in reg, store bought produce. Vendors have clothing, bags, deserts and more... It is my favorite place to buy home grown goods and spices, as well as incense
Usually someone is set up selling home made jellies and jams
PET POLICY NFM is a pet-friendly market. Patrons may dine with leashed pets in designated areas on Market patios and picnic-table areas — but not in general dining areas. Patrons must keep pets leashed and within their control at all times and clean up after their pets. Aggressive pets are not permitted on NFM property.
I have not seen any but a vendor might have some.
Loved it! Wasn't expecting such a huge variety of cuisines in the food court!! The whole family (grandparents, mom, dad and the 4 year old) found something yummy and the adults enjoyed local beer and wine. Will definitely return every time I visit Nashville!!
So many cool local businesses. This market is a go to place if you are visiting Nashville or even if you are staying here.
Gardens of Babylon review: Really pricey and not that great of a selection. All the rare plants you see on social media are marked not for sale in store so don't be fooled. Parking and access are easy though.
I love our farmer's market. The produce in season is great and you get to support local growers and merchants. The market inside is a great place to grab lunch as well.
This is a small farmer's market with a great food court so I think it's a bit of a misnomer to call it a farmer's market. That being said there looks like there is some nice local produce and meats for sale. The food vendors in the hall are terrific and we really enjoyed the pop up food stall 2 Peruvian Chefs, but there are many other choices including Indian, Korean, Cajun/Creole, Southern food are all there they also have a tap room that had draft beer from local breweries. Seating is communal so grab a seat. Parking is tight but free.
Got me some "Green mater's" reasonably priced and fresh!!
First time visiting this place and WOW loved it. It's the perfect place to take a mesium sized group after touring the Capitol Building or the museum. We had a group of 30 and was able to keep an eye on all the students and still have a vast array of choices for everyone involved. Only complaint is in the winter, seating is limited and can get kind of crowded. Also, just so you know, you can call ahead and reserve seating - you may want to do this because it stays pretty busy and finding a seat can be tough.
Even with COVID closures and issues, still a great & fun atmosphere. Will be returning when everything opens back up.
This place has really come up since I grew up in the 60s in Nashville and there was a run down store and farmers would have their trucks and sell their stuff from the back of it. The food court is pretty sophisticated and the plant place blew me away. There really wasn't that much of a variety or selection though of produce and the prices were comparable to the grocery. The tomatoes I got were the best I've had in years though. The experience is good for tourists.
Awesome! Love, love, love this place!! Great people offering superb and unique products including the locally grown fresh produce and food staples. Worth a stop to check out if visiting from out of town.
a really awesome spot. you can spend hours here and not run out of things to see or do. Great food and awesome place to spend time.
Some of the vendors seemed to be priced a little high but just my opinion. I found what I needed except for fresh salsa but I'll make a trip to my favorite place to get it instead.
The market is great. Good produce and artisan crafts... greatly disappointed that food court and food trucks have NO VEGAN FOOD OPTIONS.
It was kind of sad actually...hardly no vendors...hardly no farmers ...we bought a handful of tomatoes...they swore they were juicy and flavorful...and they were right on!also...got some peaches from the Peach Truck...they are not the huge ones we are used to getting and the sack we bought has to ripen acouple more days...havent tried them yet...cant wait
A plethora of fresh produce awaits you. From artisan soaps and bath bombs to organic products galore, we took our time browsing the many booths and opted for Jeni's ice cream for breakfast. It was absolutely ridiculously good!
A very nice farmer's market! Lots of varieties and down home atmosphere.
Had hoped for a little more produce at the farmers' market in the outside stalls, but still a good Sunday outing.
Head down to the farmer’s market for some great food, wine, and entertainment. Yes! A wonderful girl was playing the acoustic guitar and it was delightful! Natchez Hills has a tasting counter. Stop and grab a flight. ;)The pizza was out of this world!
The Gardens of Babylon!!!!! A true experience. Lots of vibrant, gorgeous plants to choose from! I love going here as a way to just get out of the house and enjoy some greenery. I can never leave this place without at least one plant in hand. Love the variety and the staff. They are always willing to answer any questions that you have about plants and how to take care of them.
We always enjoy the Nashville Farmers' Market. It's different right now with social distancing, but still a great place to shop.
I spent two hours in this place and could easily spend much more time there. So many different types of fresh fruit and veggies to purchase as well as locally harvested honey, salad dressings, meat, soups, jams, apple butter, coffees, cold drinks. Don't skip the retailers in the back stalls with beautiful hand crafted jewelry and tribal print fabrics, and the shop inside with delicious Indian spiced teas and herbs. The gardens of Babylon is an attraction in itself with pottery and beautiful flowers as well as crystals and even a lemon tree that's been on my wish list for years.
I love the fresh vegetables and fruit at Nashville Farmers. Smileys is always my first and main shopping spot. They are chock-full of the freshest veggies, prices are good and they are friendly and open every day. My second stop is the Peach Truck, they too are there everyday with fresh Georgia peaches.
Ice market just not as big in diverse as I had hoped for what supposed to be a local farmers market. At that time many of the vendors were not local and most of them actually sold pretty much the same thing. I understand that it's changed, and that would be for the best.
Nice variety of what they had, but no watermelons or honey dew
It was my first time here and I'll definitely be going back! The staff respected COVID restrictions and was still super friendly to everyone. All of the vendors were amazing and the selection was top notch.
Spent way too much $$$ but all was well worth it. Great variety and selections to fits every taste and interest. Super friendly people.
awesome being outdoors and having one of my favorite things gelato. who would have thought ...! aq
If you go you MUST stop by Jenis for the best icecream of your life! Also! They have an amazing selection of fresh fruits and veggies! Bring your own bag to help save the planet ♡♡♡
Enjoyed the experience. A lot of the restaurants were closed down.
Tennessee grown corn and tomatoes. Delicious!
I adore this place, and have for years. The offerings and vendors have changed throughout the years, but I dare say the new changes have made a great impact. If you are near the area, this is definitely worth a stop.
This place made me want to move to Nashville. You can come here and get pretty much everything and anything! There are a variety of vendors here that sell different goods and foods. You definitely want to make sure you stop by here when visiting Nashville. You will love it!
Got honey, icecream, and a plant. Took a walk through the market, garden, and nearby park.
We stopped by for lunch after visiting the Tennessee Museum next door. There's a wide selection of lunch counters featuring pizza, sandwiches, southern, and ethnic food. I got the "veggie plate" from the Greek style counter in the center section. For less than $10, plenty of food - hummus, tabouli, spinach pastry, salad, and stuffed grape leaves - all very good and fresh tasting. I got a very good local craft beer from a different counter nearby.
I've been a regular of NFM since I moved to Nashville two years ago and its easily my favorite spot in town--for grocery shopping, for finding unique gifts for friends and family, and for getting a great bite to eat. I am a big fan of the Grow Local Kitchen--both the amazing folks that cook there and NFMs initiative to promote small business. NFM would also be a great stop for tourists near Bicentennial Park for a great lunch and some souvenirs. I can't imagine this city without NFM and I'll be thrilled to support them for the years to come.
This location is forcing masks on people outside in open air areas. We left immediately and will not be returning.
First time coming here and it is amazing. Due to covid-19 they are requiring and enforcing face masks when going inside the building. On the outside it is not necessarily enforced, but is recommended. The strawberries are so sweet and the peaches are to die for. Will come again!
The wife loved it so if she approves of it so do i.
I consider this my go to for lunch, coffee, and even to pick up gifts, there’s so much there. The Nashville Farmer’s Market is one of the best around. Plenty of restaurant options from BBQ, Chinese, pizza, sandwiches, jerk chicken, gyros, and a lot more! Have a wine tasting, grab some ice cream, or a cup of got chocolate. Wow! Everything you need is here. The outside market has a great selection of locally seasonal grown fruits and veggies, so fresh and tasty. The Farmer’s market is open 362 days and there’s plenty of FREE parking!
Open area, easy access to all the shops, friendly staff, including the knowledgeable security. Security was able to give directions to specific vendors, to meet my requests. There's a no shopping without a mask rule in place, so they provide the mask as needed, as well as hand sanitizer.
